The show features Minnesota native Philip Bauer as Johnny Cash. His performance is sure to include many of Cash’s unforgettable hits such as, “Ring of Fire,” “Thoughts Have Wings,” “Chaos Lady,” and “I Walk the Line.”

About Philip Bauer
Bauer started his musical path by winning over audiences in Minnesota. In 1985, Bauer won the Minnesota State Fair talent contest out of 800 contestants. His performance received much attention and landed him in his first contract to perform with a 40-piece orchestra the following year at the Minnesota State Fair.

In 1996, Bauer auditioned and was immediately asked to perform on the Charlie Daniels Talent Round Up on TNN. A year later, he performed to standing ovations as the warm-up act for superstar LeAnn Rimes.

Since that time, Bauer has performed to capacity with other country stars like Vince Gill, Joe Diffie, and Toby Keith, and received the Male Vocalist of the Year award and Entertainer of the Year award from the Oklahoma Opry.

For the past seven years, Bauer has performed at Oklahoma City’s elegant Makers Piano Lounge singing jazz, pop standards, and the audience favorite – his Johnny Cash celebrity impression.
