An Elegant Dinner in a Casual Atmosphere 

Take a break from the ordinary and indulge your inner gourmand. You’ll find expertly prepared food, fine wines and spirits, and attentive service at The Winds, one of the premium steakhouses in Minnesota.

Let your taste buds take a trip with our Winds “Chef’s Tour”, presenting a new four course menu each week, especially created by our Chef to feature an exciting variety of dishes not found on our regular menu.

To complement each Tour, a carefully selected Wine Flight is offered as well; a sampling of four different wines expertly chosen to enhance each course of the Chef’s Tour in turn.

Course One

Kalamata Olive Cheesecake
Kalamata olives, fresh rosemary, and cream cheese top a pecan crust in this savory twist on a classic. Served with toasted garlic flat bread.

Course Two

Fresh Berry Spinach Salad
Baby spinach, fresh strawberries, and mandarin orange segments tossed in tangy raspberry vinaigrette, garnished with slices of red onion
and toasted almonds.

Course Three

Shrimp and Linguini
Four jumbo shrimp sautéed in olive oil with onions, garlic, diced roma tomatoes, chopped fresh basil, and basil pine nut pesto, with a dash of crushed red pepper flakes; tossed with linguini in a buttery white wine sauce.

Spumoni Ice Cream
Classic Spumoni ice-cream topped with candied pistachios.

Folie à Deux Ménage à Trois Rosé
Our 2010 Menage a Trois Rose is the epitome of a good rose. No pretension, no pretense. Just a fruit-laden roller coaster ride of raspberries, strawberries, lychee nuts, and flowers with a silky smooth finish. A medium weighted palate with a cocktail of citrus and tropical flavors. 

Course Two

Kenwood Sauvignon Blanc
Appetizing notes of lemon grass, guava, and passion fruit, combine with a fresh and crisp mouthfeel and a tangy finish.

Course Three

Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio
Flavors and aromas of apple and pineapple. This wine is light bodied with a pleasant soft palate and a long finish.

Course Four

Astoria 9.5 Cold Wine
Very fine and persistent bubbles with flavors and aromas that are fresh, showing the purity of the fruit. The finish is crisp, balanced and lingering.
