An Elegant Dinner in a Casual Atmosphere 

Take a break from the ordinary and indulge your inner gourmand. You’ll find expertly prepared food, fine wines and spirits, and attentive service at The Winds, one of the premium steakhouses in Minnesota.

Let your taste buds take a trip with our Winds “Chef’s Tour”, presenting a new four course menu each month, offered weekly on Thursday through Sunday.  Each Tour is especially created by our Chef to feature an exciting variety of dishes not found on our regular menu.

To complement each Tour, a carefully selected Wine Flight is offered as well; a sampling of four different wines expertly chosen to enhance each course of the Chef’s Tour in turn.

Course One
Blackened Tenderloin Tips
Beef tenderloin tips dusted with Cajun seasoning and seared. Topped with crispy onions and served with béarnaise and creamy horseradish sauce.

Course Two
Coconut Chicken Salad
Mixed greens tossed in a honey and Dijon vinaigrette, with mandarin oranges, diced melon, artichoke hearts, tomatoes, and Colby Jack cheese.  Topped with a hand-breaded coconut chicken tender.

Course Three
Pan Fried Lobster
Tender and flavorful lobster tail lightly breaded and served with a white wine and chervil butter. Accompanied with your choice of potato or Winds wild rice blend.

Course Four
Lemon Lime Cream Tarts
Individual tartlet shells are filled with smooth cream cheese, tangy lemon curd and lime zest, and topped with fresh whipped cream.

Course One
Ravenswood Shiraz
Belts out a big bold unapologetic ballad of mulberry, blackberry, dark chocolate and smoked meat flavors along with a rich medley of mint, licorice and clove.

Course Two
Toad Hollow “Unoaked” Chardonnay
Beautifully balanced with hints of mango, melon, mineral, and incredible acidity.  The nose is delicately perfumed with citrus and green apple.  A mouthfeel that is rich and creamy while still displaying crisp and clean flavors.

Course Three
Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc-Viognier
Wonderfully crisp, elegant, fresh honeydew melon, spring flower, white peach and honeysuckle aromas soar from the glass of this zesty, dry, medium-bodied white wine.

Course Four
Canti Moscato
Vibrant and expressive with intense notes of apricot, white peach and sage. It boasts soft frizzante bubbles with tantalizing sweetness and nice acidity.
