We have a variety of menu options to suit practically any event. If you’re looking for something not featured on our menus, our talented Executive Chef, will custom-create a menu to meet your group’s specific needs.
Tax and Service Charge
An 18% service charge will be added to all food and beverage ordered. A 6.875% sales tax will be added to all charges.
All Breaks are served for a two hour time frame and all buffet and plated meals are served for a one hour time frame. Typical hours of service for meals are as follows: Breakfast menus served between 6am and 10:30am; Lunch menus served between 11am and 2pm; and Dinner menus served between 4pm and 9pm. Menus that are designated for specific meal periods may be ordered for an alternate meal period but portion size, food items and/or price may be adjusted.
Attendance must be guaranteed to the Banquet Coordinator at least 14 calendar days before your event. The number will be considered a guarantee, not subject to reduction, and charges will be assessed accordingly. If notification is not received, billing will be based on the original guarantee. All charges are based on the guarantee, or the actual number of people served, whichever is greater.
Amount prepared over
Our chef will prepare 5% or 20 meals over your guaranteed number, whichever is lesser.
Multiple Entrée choices
Groups of 50 people or less may choose 2 entrees. Two weeks prior to the event, a guaranteed number must be given for both entrée choices. Prior to the meal, the Banquet Coordinator will give the group contact meal tickets for the separate entrees. The group contact is responsible to hand out the meal tickets with the option chosen to their attendees. Attendees will then give the ticket with their entrée choice to their server.
Special dietary requests
Requests for vegetarian, diabetic or other special dietary needs should be given to the Banquet Coordinator two weeks prior to the event.
Our chefs often prepare additional food to ensure an event is a success. Any food remaining after an event is complete is the property of Grand Casino Mille Lacs and for liability reasons, cannot be removed from the premises. No to-go boxes will be provided.
Outside Food and Beverage
Outside food or beverage, with the exception of wedding or specialty cakes prepared by a licensed baker, cannot be brought into the Events and Convention Center.
Alcoholic beverages shall not be made available or consumed in the Convention Center or gaming floor.
